Future You! Art Classes (Ages 8–12)

Service Description

In a world full of possibilities, choosing what you want to be can feel overwhelming. In Future You!, students will explore their interests by selecting up to three careers they are most curious about. Through drawing, painting, sculpting, collage, and mixed media, students will create artwork that represents their dream careers—often placing their own likeness into the work to help them visualize themselves in those roles. Students will: Explore a variety of careers through art and discussion Create collages, picture mash-ups, and mixed-media projects Learn about different professions through guest speakers Build confidence, creativity, and motivation for the future This class uses creativity as a powerful tool to inspire children to dream boldly and imagine their future selves. Dates: February 23 – May 25, 2026 Days & Time: Mondays & Wednesdays, 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM * SPRING BREAK APRIL 20-25th NO CLASS THAT WEEK Snacks: Provided Bring your own water bottle For our 2026 classes, we continue to follow all updated CDC and State and local Health & Safety guidelines. Once you register, you will receive a confirmation email that will include safety guidelines, drop-off and pick-up procedures, and enrollment forms.
