Dig Deeper: Art Lessons (13+)

Service Description

Dig Deeper is a studio-style art class designed for teens who want to seriously pursue their creative interests. Students will choose the art medium they wish to focus on—such as drawing, painting, sculpture, or digital art—and create a series of works centered around guided themes. With professional instruction, structured critiques, and one-on-one guidance, students will: Develop technical skills in their chosen medium Participate in group critiques and individualized instruction Build a cohesive body of work Learn professional art practices and creative discipline Students must bring a laptop or standalone tablet for reference or digital illustration. Class size is limited to 8 students to ensure ample space and personalized instruction. Additionally, students will have the opportunity to participate in monthly Saturday visits to local art galleries and museums, exposing them to masterworks and real-world artistic inspiration. Dates: February 17 – May 19, 2026 Days & Time: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM * SPRING BREAK APRIL 20-25th NO CLASS THAT WEEK Snacks: Provided Bring your own water bottle For our 2026-2027 classes, we continue to follow all updated CDC and State and local Health & Safety guidelines.
