Into the Inkwell: Creating with Ink Date: July 28st – August 1st Time: 9am – 3pm Where: Noah's Art Studios Inking has always been around, from cave drawings using primitive dyes, ancient penmanship on papyrus, beautiful Asian brush strokes in scrolls, feather quills dipped in inkwells and I’m sure you can guess where we are at today with ink. Ink’s usage has been reimaged for centuries. This week we will be exploring some of the wonderful ways ink has been and can be used to create. We will be using a plethora of inking tools and inks to make self-portraits, illustrations, calligraphy, and more. We will also learn shading techniques and create our own inking tools! We are also excited to have an amazing guest artist who will show off one of the amazing ways he uses ink in his craft. * Pack a Lunch & Water everyday *Please list allergies and needed medical information in the comment section when registering
